Questions
What size are return address labels?
This page starts on Avery 5167: 80 labels per Letter sheet, each 1/2 x 1-3/4 in. For bigger labels, pick another sheet, like Avery 5160.
How many lines fit on a return address label?
Three short lines fit comfortably: name, street, and city with ZIP code. A fourth line makes the text very small.
My labels print a little off. What do I change?
In your computer's print window, set Scale to 100% or Actual size, not Fit to page. Then print the test page on plain paper and hold it against a label sheet to check the lines match. More fixes for off-center labels.
Can I paste addresses from Excel or Google Sheets?
Yes. Copy the rows and paste them in. Each row becomes one label and each cell becomes a line, so put the name, street and city in separate columns.
Can I use a sheet I've already used part of?
Yes. Set Start at label number to the first empty label. Labels are numbered across each row, then down the sheet.
Do I have to use Avery labels?
No. Any brand works if the sheet has the same layout: the same label size and number per sheet. Print the test page first to check it lines up.
How many addresses can I add?
Up to 1,000 at a time. Longer lists run onto as many sheets as they need, and you can page through every sheet in the preview before downloading.
Can I make address labels on a Mac?
Yes. LabelYeti works in your web browser on a Mac, Windows PC or Chromebook, with nothing to install. You download a PDF and print it from there.
Do you have Word or Google Docs templates?
No, LabelYeti only makes PDFs. A PDF prints at exactly the same size on every computer and printer, so there's nothing to line up or reformat. You fill in the details on the page and download the finished PDF.
Do you keep my address list?
No. The PDF is made in your browser and your list is never uploaded or saved. Only the label sheet you chose is remembered in this browser.
