LabelYeti

Privacy policy

Your labels are made in your browser and never uploaded. Here's what we handle, and what your browser remembers.

Last updated November 3, 2026.

This privacy policy explains what personal information LabelYeti handles, why, and what rights you have. We've written it to be read, not skimmed past, so it's in plain English.

Who we are

LabelYeti (labelyeti.com) is run by Cranford Tech Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 15069364. Our registered office is 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NE.

For the personal information described here, Cranford Tech Limited is the "controller" under UK data protection law. That means we decide how and why it's used, and we're responsible for looking after it.

You can contact us about privacy through the contact form or by emailing support@cranfordtech.com.

The short version

Information you enter into the tools

When you use a LabelYeti tool, everything you type or add (names, addresses, order details, product titles, FNSKUs, logos and notes) is processed by your own browser, on your own device, to draw the preview and make the PDF. None of it is sent to us or to anyone else, and we can't see it.

If you enter other people's details, such as your customers' addresses, you're responsible for handling them lawfully. Because that information never reaches us, we don't process it on your behalf.

What your browser remembers

To save you typing the same things again, some tools store a few details in your browser's local storage. This happens when you download or print. The details stay on your device and are never sent to us.

ToolWhat it remembers
Shipping label makerYour return name and address, and the style and paper you chose
Packing slipsYour store name, logo, note to customers and paper size
FNSKU labelsYour product list (FNSKUs, titles, conditions and counts) and label size
Address labelsThe label sheet you chose. Your address list is never stored.

To remove these details, clear this site's data in your browser's settings. Using a private or incognito window stops them being kept after you close it.

Cookies

We don't use cookies, and we don't use advertising or social media trackers. The local storage described above is only used to remember the details you entered, for you.

When you contact us

If you send a message through the contact form or by email, we receive:

Why we use it: to reply to you, to help with problems, and to improve LabelYeti based on what people tell us.

Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in answering questions about our service and improving it.

How it's handled: messages from the contact form are delivered to our support inbox by our email provider, Resend.

How long we keep it: for up to two years after our last message with you, so we can follow up and refer back if you get in touch again. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand how the site is used: how many people visit, which pages are popular, and which sites send visitors to us. Plausible is designed for privacy. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't build profiles of visitors, and doesn't collect personal information that identifies you. We see only totals.

Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in understanding and improving the site.

Hosting and security

The site is hosted by Vercel. When your browser requests a page, Vercel's servers receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. This is needed to deliver the site and to protect it against abuse. Vercel keeps this information for a limited time.

Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in running a secure and reliable website.

The fonts on the site are served from our own domain, so loading a page doesn't send your details to a font provider.

International transfers

Some of our providers are based in the United States, so information you send us may be processed there. When that happens, we rely on the safeguards UK law requires for international transfers, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses, or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where a provider is certified under it.

How we protect information

The site is served only over HTTPS, so information you send us is encrypted in transit. Access to our support inbox and our provider accounts is limited to the people who need it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

To use any of these rights, contact us or email support@cranfordtech.com. We'll reply within one month. We may need to confirm who you are before acting on a request.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll make it clear on the site.
