These terms apply to your use of LabelYeti (labelyeti.com). Please read them before using the site. By using it, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. About us
LabelYeti is run by Cranford Tech Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 15069364, whose registered office is 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NE. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Cranford Tech Limited.
You can contact us through the contact form or by emailing support@cranfordtech.com.
2. The service
LabelYeti provides free online tools for making shipping labels, address labels, packing slips, FNSKU labels, handling labels and similar documents as PDFs. You don't need an account.
We may change, add or remove tools and features, and we may suspend or stop the service, at any time. We'll try to give notice of significant changes where we reasonably can, but because the service is free, we're not obliged to.
3. Using LabelYeti for a business
Many people use LabelYeti for their business. If you do, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on the business's behalf. Some parts of section 10 apply differently to businesses and to consumers.
4. Your content
"Your content" means everything you enter into or add to the tools, such as names, addresses, order details, product information and logos.
- You keep all rights in your content and in the labels and documents you make with it. We don't claim any ownership of them.
- Your content stays in your browser. The tools process it on your own device and it isn't sent to us. Our privacy policy explains what your browser remembers.
- You're responsible for your content. You confirm that you have the right to use it, including any logos and trademarks, and that using it doesn't break any law or anyone else's rights.
- Other people's details. If you enter other people's personal information, such as your customers' addresses, you're responsible for handling it in line with data protection law.
5. Labels are not postage
LabelYeti shipping labels and templates are for addressing your packages. They are not postage, they don't show that postage has been paid, and they aren't issued by or connected to any carrier. You need to pay for postage separately, through a carrier or post office, and follow its rules.
6. Checking what you print
LabelYeti helps you make labels, but you're responsible for checking them before you use them. In particular, you're responsible for:
- making sure addresses and other details are correct and complete;
- making sure labels meet the requirements of your carrier, marketplace or customer. For FNSKU labels, check Amazon's current labeling requirements in Seller Central;
- printing at 100% scale and on the right label sheet or label size;
- checking that barcodes print clearly and scan before you label a batch of items.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the site for anything unlawful or fraudulent, including making labels intended to mislead a carrier or anyone else;
- try to disrupt, overload or damage the site, or get around any limits or security measures;
- copy, scrape or reproduce substantial parts of the site, or use automated systems to access it in a way that puts an unreasonable load on it;
- use the contact form to send spam or abusive messages.
We may restrict or block access to the site for anyone who breaks these rules.
8. Our intellectual property
The site, its design, code, text, graphics and the LabelYeti name, logo and yeti mascot belong to us or our licensors. You may use the site and the documents it makes as these terms allow, but you may not copy or reuse the site itself, or our branding, without our permission.
The labels and documents you make are yours to use for any lawful purpose. Some PDFs contain fonts used under open font licenses, which allow them to be embedded and printed.
9. Other brands and websites
Avery, Amazon and other product or company names belong to their owners. We mention them only to say which label sizes and uses our tools are compatible with. LabelYeti isn't affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by them.
The site may link to other websites. We're not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
10. Our responsibility to you
The service is provided as it is. We work to keep the tools accurate and available, but we don't promise that the site will be uninterrupted or free of errors, or that labels made with it will be accepted by any carrier, marketplace or customer.
If you're a consumer, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable if it's obvious it will happen, or if both of us knew it might happen when you used the site. We're not responsible for loss or damage that isn't foreseeable. We only provide the site for domestic and private use, so we're not responsible for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.
If you use LabelYeti for a business, we're not liable to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, for any loss of profit, sales, business, revenue or goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss. This includes losses from packages that are misdelivered, delayed or rejected, or items that are mislabeled. Our total liability to a business for everything arising from its use of the site is limited to £100.
What we don't exclude. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that can't be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the site or the law. The date at the top shows when they last changed. The terms in force when you use the site are the ones that apply.
12. General
- If a court finds part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- These terms, together with our privacy policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the site.
- Nobody other than you and us has any right to enforce these terms.
- We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organization, for example if the site changes hands.
13. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. If you're a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
